Complaints

Any member of the public can lodge a complaint with the MC. This can be a candidate, a voter, a student etc. When the MC receives the complaint, it will investigate the complaint and determine whether this complaint is valid.

If it is valid, the MC will take a decision to sanction the media outlet. This sanction could include: requiring the media outlet to publish the criticism made by the MC; publish corrections or apologies, or requiring the outlet to offer the right of reply to the person who has been "attacked" in a one-sided way.
