16 August 2010 - The IEC held a certificate ceremony today at the IEC Media Center, for over fifty female staff who participated in trainings organized by the Gender Unit over the past month. The New IEC Website
The new website of the Independent Election Commission of Afghanistan was designed to provide voters, candidates, civil society, media, and other stakeholders with improved access to information about elections and the electoral process in Afghanistan. The website boasts a user-friendly format which makes it easy to locate information on the IEC itself, educational resources on electoral systems, and information on past and upcoming elections. As the website matures, more information will be available.
