Polling Centers |
Polling centers are the locations where voting takes place. Over 6,800 polling centers are scheduled to be operations across the country on 20 August.
Polling centers are manned by trained staff. Staff oversee voting and undertake the initial tally of votes.
Within polling centers, separate areas are provided for both men and women to vote. All voters must present a voter registration card before being allowed to vote. To learn more about how polling centers work, visit the voter education page.
The list of polling centers below is due to change and not finalized. The final list of polling centers will be announced after 15 August 2009.
