Kabul, Afghanistan, March 02, 2015 - The IEC started a training workshop for the IEC provincial public outreach and training officers on Monday.
The workshop held at the IEC HQ and it will last for ten days.
The participants will be trained on teaching and public outreach methods, and also other electorally related issues.

The Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC) published a list of an approximate 10,000 election suspected employees, found alleged electoral irregularities and fraud in the 2014 Presidential and Provincial Council Elections.

This workshop is conducted at IEC HQ. IEC acting CEO Aurangzeb, IEC heads of departments, employees and some employees from IECC have participated in this workshop.
Kabul, Afghanistan, February 3, 2015 - Recently, Mr. Francis Michael Milibon, Ambassador of EU to Afghanistan had an interview with one of the private media in which he said: “It can’t be imagined to conduct upcoming elections in existence of the current management of the Electoral Commissions and the existing practices”. The IEC considers these statements of Mr. Milibon in contradiction with all diplomatic norms and parlance and an obvious intervention in the election affairs of Afghanistan.
